Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost welcomed their first child together. Johansson’s representative Marcel Pariseau confirmed to people.com. The couple were blessed with a baby boy named Cosmo.
The news was confirmed by Jost through an Instagram post. “Ok ok, we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated.” He wrote on his Instagram handle and requested privacy.
Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson is also mom to six-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy. Oscar nominee Johansson married Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, in October 2020 in a private ceremony, after dating since 2017. The couple had kept the pregnancy private until recently, when comedian- actor Colin Jost reportedly revealed they were to become parents at a stand-up show in Connecticut. People magazine first reported the birth of the baby, which came as a surprise to many since news of the pregnancy had come out only a few days earlier.
Meanwhile, Scarlett has been in the news since she filed a suit against Disney. She is in a legal battle against Disney Studios after they released her stand-alone film ‘Black Widow’ on their digital streaming platform Disney+ along with the theatrical release. According to her lawsuit the studio breached its contract with her. However, the film had an $80 million opening weekend at the domestic box office. Alongside, Scarlett is also plotting her big-screen return and has signed Wes Anderson’s upcoming movie, which also stars Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks.
