By Law 13, which was issued in June 2007 by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority or Prometric was created. Prometric has the authority to develop health policies and strategies and oversee their implementation as the strategic health authority for the Emirate of Dubai. The Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority is His Excellency of Prometric.
Since October 2014, all of Oman has accepted medical licenses, allowing medical professionals to practice in any emirate. This suggests that nurses and other healthcare workers who have passed the Prometric exam can now work in any emirate without having to take any further tests or exams.
In order to practice medicine or nursing professionally in Oman, candidates must first complete Prometric training to obtain a professional license. The Department of Economic Development issues a professional license, which is comparable to a trade or industrial license. Nurses and other healthcare professionals are among those who are required to have a professional license. Validation of Credentials
The Oman Prometric training Exam Professional Qualifications Requirements are followed by all applicants for licenses in the health professions (PQR). For specific categories of health professionals, the PQR is a comprehensive document that defines the necessary training, education, and professional experience.
Eligibility requirements
The Saudi Ministry of Health (Prometric) examination is required for all nurses who want to work in Saudi Arabia.
B.Sc. Both diploma nurses and nurses with two years of experience are qualified to practice as registered nurses. Nurses with two years of experience who pass this exam can work as nurse technicians. The Prometric test does not have a suggested curriculum in particular. A computer-based test with multiple-choice questions is being administered. The test may be retaken as often as necessary if an applicant fails it.
