Qualifications and eligibility criteria
To participate in or sit for the MOH exam, a candidate must have a diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited college or university as well as registration from their home country. Additionally, the individual should have at least five months of post-registration experience.
A three-year minimum is also required for internships and experience.
Documents to be submitted
- SSLC and 10th standard certificate
- Plus two or 12th standard certificate

- BLS (only for doctors and nurses)
- Good standing certificate
- Experience certificate
- Passport size photo in color
- Copy of your passport
- Authorization letter from DHA
- Proof of professional registration in your own country
All certificates must be sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the nation in which they were issued and attested by them.
At the time of collection, all certificates submitted must be authentic and identical to those uploaded.
The universities listed in the WHO ranking should issue the certifications for general practise for doctors. If not, the applicant will not be eligible to take the MOH exam. The candidate will not be eligible to take the exam in the event that practise is interrupted or stopped in any way.
No exceptions will be made; in order to sit for the MOH exam, all necessary paperwork must be submitted at the time of application.
For the MOH exam, each candidate will have three chances. A fourth attempt would be given if all three were unsuccessful one year after the candidate’s last exam date.

How to apply for the MOH exam
Step 1:
Before applying, the first thing you must do is gather all the necessary paperwork and make sure everything is ready.
You do not need to have all of it attested just yet, but you must ensure that all of the documents were accurately and completely scanned.

Step 2:
The next action is to set up a MOH account.
You must do this by visiting Sheryan, a DHA online licensing system that enables you to keep track of all matters pertaining to your license. So visit the website and register.
After creating an account, you will be directed to another website called Online Registration and Licensing. All of the previously mentioned necessary documents must be uploaded here.
Step 3:
The eligibility ID must be awaited.
Up to six weeks may pass during this process. So that you can begin the subsequent step. Make sure you have a UAE-based credit card because you will need it to pay for your MOH exam expenses. The price at the moment is 7000 rupees.
Step 4:
Request PSV
They will email you a link for your Primary Source Verification once they have pre-valued all of the papers you uploaded.
Your PSV may not arrive for another six weeks after this.
Step 5:
Plan your Prometric test date.
You will receive a MOH Reference Number once you have paid the exam expenses for the MOH. You can book your MOH exam after you receive the same.
Step 6:
Go to the appropriate testing location and take the MOH exam. If you took the exam, you might obtain your results two to five days later.
